Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the website of Jon Mather, Freelance Web Developer based in Perth, Western Australia. By accessing and using my services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use my services.

1. Services

I provide web development services including, but not limited to, website design, development, maintenance, and support.

2. Quotations and Acceptance

All quotations provided by me, Jon Mather, are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Acceptance of a quotation by the client constitutes an agreement to these terms and conditions.

3. Payment Terms

3.1. A 50% deposit of the total project cost is required upfront before the commencement of any work.

3.2. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project, prior to the final delivery and handover of any work.

3.3. All invoices are to be paid within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.4. Late payments may incur additional charges.

4. Project Timelines

I will make all reasonable efforts to meet agreed project timelines. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and I will not be held liable for such delays.

5. Revisions and Scope Changes

5.1. My quotations include a specified number of revisions. Additional revisions or changes to the project scope may incur extra charges.

5.2. Any changes to the project scope after acceptance of the quotation will be documented and may result in additional costs and revised timelines.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1. The client agrees to provide all necessary information, materials, and approvals required to complete the project in a timely manner.

6.2. Delays in providing necessary information or approvals may result in delays to the project timeline.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information exchanged during the project.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All intellectual property rights in the work provided by me remain with me until full payment has been received.

8.2. Upon receipt of full payment, intellectual property rights in the final deliverables will be transferred to the client.

9. Limitation of Liability

I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of this agreement and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of receiving written notice of the breach.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

12. Amendments

I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on my website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
